Team Building

Video game production is a lot like producing other forms of art and entertainment, especially feature films. It starts with an idea. Usually it develops into a rough form with words and/or visuals, a script, storyboard, sizzle reel or demo, which then begins making the rounds for additional support, including funding. Some films and games can be produced with lots of sweat equity at a very low cost; some cost hundreds of millions of dollars. With Earth Island, the co-creators, Ethan and Eric, have both invested a lot of sweat equity, but further development of the game requires, in addition to outside funding, that many more people be added to the team to get the project to the next level. Some need to be paid, others may offer support and encouragement without requiring payment. We are actively interviewing creative partners in the game production world who believe that Earth Island can not only affect climate change by raising awareness about it, but also enable a paradigm shift that results in the natural world being treated with more respect.

We feel that Earth Island has a better chance of accomplishing the above than most other climate initiatives on the planet.
