What we do to the Earth we do to ourselves.
We are a part of its circulatory system. Water flows in our veins, air in our lungs. Fire lives in our bodies as heat. Our tissues grow on what grows in the Earth’s soil.
Scientists, philosophers, and indigenous wisdom holders confirm that we inhabit a connected universe, where all affects all. Our approach to the climate emergency must be integral and inclusive; the ecosphere regarded not only as an object to be fixed but also as a dynamic, evolving relationship to be reclaimed.
We must work together, one and all, celebrating our diversity of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, and physical abilities, paying close attention to what the Earth is asking of us.
Earth's health is our lifeline.
